Long and mostly flat hike leading towards a historic mission, 1/4 mile stretch of dinosaur tracks, and a historic ranch.
From La Junta go south on H109 and then turn on to CR802 into the Comanche Grass Lands. South on CR25 and follow the signs toward Withers Canyon trail head. After this it is recommended for a high clearance vehicle, but this was not needed on our trip.
